Father's Day Regatta

TENT LOCATION

Our club tent space is the 4th from the right on the map.

Parking

  • Parking is always difficult for this race. Car pool is highly recommended. Please plan accordingly and arrive early. Be prepared to walk a bit farther from your parking spot.

  • Parking is available at the Ranch across the street from Nanakuli Beach for free.

  • St Rita's Church across the beach for $8 (as of 2024 season).

  • Ka Waihona O Ka Na'auao School past the beach park for $5 (as of 2024 season).


Member Responsibilities

  • KEIKI

    • Tent set up. See coach Derek for details.

  • EVERYONE

    • Food vendors available for this race. Please bring snacks to share; fruits, sandwiches, veggies, nothing too heavy. Fill up water jugs, bring paper goods & rubbish bags.

    • After the race is done, all paddlers breakdown tent, load Tarita, unload & wash canoe back at Halau (Ala Wai).

  • OPEN MEN/NOVICE MEN/OPEN WOMEN/NOVICE WOMEN

    • Camping on Saturday night is available only under our club tent. Please remember you’re representing our Ohana, so be respectful. More information to come.

    • Bring food/drinks to share if you want to participate in the potluck after the race at the Ala wai. The theme this week is burgers and Saimin Stand — so get ready to sip and slurp!🍻 There’ll be a make-your-own saimin bar (just bring your own instant noods) and burgahs fresh off the grill. 🍔🔥 Signup sheet will be available after practice this week, please see Pu’uwai or Rosanna.

    • Potluck & any club announcements from Kristi/Coaches will be held back at our club site.

Leeward Kai's Makeke shops will be hosting a half dozen different vendors. Please support them.
