Register Online

New and returning members are required to register online. We will be using the newest online HCRA waiver, courtesy of our friends at OHCRA.

No more PDFs, printing, or saving files - just open on your computer or phone, and sign using your mouse or finger.

Please have the following available:

• Your driver's license, passport, or other government-issued ID (Birth Cert for keiki).

• Your headshot for your paddler ID - no sunglasses, no hats, headshot only.

If the registering member is under 18, a parent/guardian must sign the form/waiver.

Your name must be exactly as it appears on your driver’s license or other official government-issued document

Please make sure your Date of birth is NOT today’s date, and it’s in a full 4-digit year.

This must be done electronically and completed before your first practice.

STEP 2: Complete HCRA's waiver form below.

It will prompt you to sign the waiver and submit it. If there are changes to your email address, cell phone number and emergency contact information, you can make the changes in the waiver. We do not need your physical address, home phone number, or work number. The HCRA waiver may be digitally signed and will automatically validate when you submit it.

This form is required to be completed before participating in any race. Your initial payment MUST be turned in within a week of filling out the form.

Regular Season

(APR 2026 – Oct 2026)

Pay Dues (Regatta/Long-Distance)

To be eligible to race for the 2026 Regular Season, your membership dues must be paid in full by May 12, 2026, with $100 of the total due by April 7, 2026. Members also have a mandatory fundraising responsibility. Failure to pay dues will result in ineligibility to race. Paddlers joining only for the Long-Distance Season will have separate dues and will be announced at a later date.

Payments are accepted in

• Cash - a receipt will be issued

• Check - made out to “Hui Lanakila Canoe Club”.

• Venmo - @huilanakilacanoeclub, with an $8.00 fee, total of $308. Please include “Membership Fee” in the memo.

Fundraisers

Members have mandatory fundraising responsibilities.
Our 2026 fundraiser will be announced once the regatta season begins.
Payable by cash in person or by Venmo @huilanakilacanoeclub.

Important Dates:

• Tuesday, April 7

  • A minimum of $100 Membership fee is due. No practicing until money is received.

• Tuesday, May 12

  • Full membership fee must be paid. There will be no further practice after this date until you have fulfilled your obligation. Once full payment is received, you will receive your club shirt.

• Sunday, June 7

  • First regatta at Ke’ehi Lagoon

• Saturday, Augst 1

  • State Canoe Championship, Ke’ehi Lagoon.

Pre-Season (winter)

(Dec 2025 – April 2026)

Pay Dues (Pre-Season)

To be eligible to race for the 2026 Pre-Season/winter races, your membership dues must be paid in full a week before the first race event participating in. Failure to pay dues will result in ineligibility to race.

Payments are accepted in Cash, checks (made out to “Hui Lanakila Canoe Club”), or by Venmo to @Kristi-Lowry-1. If you have any issues with payments and/or deadlines, please contact Kristi Lowry.
